As many of you know, SojournerLeather and fiction author A.R. Horvath have teamed up to produce the line of covers for his seven book series, Birth Pangs. This week, the hardcover edition (pictured to the left) should become available, which means by mid-next week, the limited leather cover editions (pictured below) will become available.
For those not “in the loop,” Horvath and SojournerLeather are making available a genuine leather cover version of his hardcover novel, Fidelis. Sojourner’s leatherwork is the base design for the hardcover jacket, so it seemed logical to take that design and make it stand on its own as a real leather jacket. The genuine tooled leather journals (tooled and made exactly like all of Sojourner’s covers, a complete handmade process using the art form ‘cincelado’) will either be available for purchase, or as a gift when you purchase 10-15 copies of Fidelis (10 hard, 15 soft, I think).
When the leather covers are available, we’ll have a full write up on the whole project. This is really an orginal and never-before-done team up between an author and an artisan group, so we’re real excited about it. Stay posted!
